February marks the American Heart Month, a time set aside each year to raise awareness about heart disease—the leading cause of death in the US—and to invite all of us into more intentional, heart-healthy living. While much of the national conversation focuses on medical screenings, nutrition, and physical activity, Heart Month also offers an opportunity to explore a quieter, equally vital dimension of heart health: our inner life.
We are honored to share this special Heart Wisdom Meditation guided by Tracy Frederick, a Certified Medical Intuitive whose work bridges the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of well-being.
Beyond the Physical Heart
The heart is more than a muscle that pumps blood. It is also a center of emotion, intuition, connection, and meaning. Stress, unresolved grief, chronic fear, and emotional fatigue can all influence how we experience our bodies—and how present we feel in our own lives.
This Heart Wisdom Meditation invites you to slow down and gently turn your attention inward. Rather than striving to “fix” anything, this practice encourages listening: to breath, to sensation, and to the subtle wisdom that lives within the heart space.
An Invitation to Pause and Listen
In this meditation, Tracy guides participants through a reflective process designed to:
Cultivate calm and nervous-system regulation
Foster awareness of emotional and energetic patterns held in the heart
Encourage compassion toward self and others
Support a deeper sense of connection, balance, and inner clarity
This offering aligns beautifully with the broader goals of Heart Month—supporting heart health not only through external actions, but through practices that nurture resilience, presence, and emotional well-being.
A Complement to Heart-Healthy Living
Heart-healthy living is most sustainable when it is holistic. Education, lifestyle changes, and medical care are essential. So too are moments of stillness that allow us to reconnect with what matters most.
As Heart Month unfolds across the US, we invite you to begin with this simple act of care: pausing long enough to listen to your heart.
Whether you are new to meditation or returning to a familiar practice, may this Heart Wisdom Meditation serve as a gentle reminder that your heart holds not only strength—but insight, memory, and guidance.
We hope you will join us in honoring Heart Month by tending to both the physical and inner dimensions of heart health.
