Wendy has been our Executive Director since 2007. Before coming to The Red Shoes, she was the Director of Education for Congregation B'nai Israel. Originally from New Orleans, she has resided in Baton Rouge for 40 years. Wendy has 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren and the dog of her dreams.
Dorcas Brandon, Assistant Director

Dorcas is a Baton Rouge native, who loves and lives in the local art community. She has spent 16 years as an educator and has taken a leap into helping the community with The Red Shoes. She
also loves fitness, food, coffee shops, and her dog, Toffee. She considers herself a “local enthusiast” who seeks to support local businesses.
Carli DiLorenzo, Admin Assistant

Carli is currently working on her master's degree in Social Work and have a bachelor's in Psychology. You can find her reading or meditating when she is not working or doing schoolwork. Reading and meditation are two things she loves to do for self-care, along with spending a ridiculous amount of time with her cats. She is grateful to be part of an organization that enriches people's lives, and creates a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
