What better way to start the new year than with a writing practice that feeds your soul and inspires new beginnings? This six-week workshop welcomes anyone who writes or has ever wanted to write. Using the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) method, these writing sessions create a safe, supportive space to explore your voice and creativity.

Each meeting begins with a short free write check-in, followed by a longer prompt-based write. Prompts may include a phrase, quote, image, object, or sound, and are designed to spark ideas rather than limit them. Participants may choose to share their writing and receive positive, thoughtful feedback focused on the work itself, never the writer. Sharing is always optional.
