About the event

Dialogue on Race, in partnership with The Red Shoes, invites you to Everyday Activist: A Conversation with Leila Ramos

  • Learn about harm reduction and its life-saving role in addressing the overdose crisis.

  • Engage in a facilitated dialogue connecting Ramos’s mission to larger conversations about equity and access.

  • Examine the role of individuals in breaking stigma and driving change in overlooked communities.

Part 1: Interview with Leila Ramos – Maxine Crump, President & CEO of Dialogue on Race, leads an in-depth conversation on Ramos’s journey, the founding of Hope Resuscitated, and her vision for a more informed and compassionate public health response.

Part 2: Facilitated Dialogue – Participants will engage in guided discussion, connecting Ramos’s work to broader systemic challenges and exploring how each person can take action in their own community.
