Welcome the arrival of summer and honor the longest day of the year in community with The Red Shoes. The Summer Solstice has long been celebrated as a time of abundance, light, and vitality. Gather with us to mark this seasonal turning with food, creativity, and shared intention.

Together, we will create a Sun Altar, a shared space that reflects the warmth, beauty, and fullness of the season. You are welcome to bring a small item to contribute to the altar such as flowers, herbs, fruit, a candle, a stone, or another object that symbolizes light, growth, or gratitude.

This gathering will also include a potluck meal celebrating the bounty of summer. Please bring a dish inspired by the season. Fresh fruits, garden vegetables, breads, salads, and bright, nourishing foods are all welcome as we share in the abundance of the table.
