Get your day off to a great start! Wake up the body and invigorate your mind and spirit with morning yoga. This integrated class offers a slow, meditative approach to yoga with a focus on breathing, core strength and proper body alignment. All levels of experience welcome.

Re-connecting with the natural world enables us to find the way back to our true inner nature, and also to connect more deeply with each other. Nature offers us the path to health, peace and well-being of mind and body. It also teaches us to love and respect our human and more-than-human community.


Engage with nature for relaxation, growth, healing and re-connection, through various exercises designed to quiet the mind, heighten sensory awareness and tap into the wisdom of nature.

  • In a tranquil setting, we will enjoy meditation, mindful walking and journaling. With gentle guidance, most of the session will take place in silence.
  • Experience an individual practice, enhanced by sharing space and intention with others. There will be the chance to share experiences and discuss after each exercise.


Bring pen and paper for journaling, water and anything else you need to keep comfortable outdoors (comfortable clothes & shoes, a snack, mosquito repellent). 


We will follow current Louisiana Department of Health guidelines around Covid 19, and observe 6 feet physical distancing throughout the session.

Are you ready to dig deeper into your personal journey to psychological wholeness? We will immerse in a book study based on the work of Carl Jung. The author, Edward Edinger, analyzes the individuation process, and uses symbolism in religion, myth, dreams, and art to illuminate the path. Discussing the stages in this transformative process, he relates them to our search for meaning. As we integrate this eye-opening path to Self, with Joan McCaskill as our guide, we gain perspectives that make a more authentic life possible.

Yoga Thrive

This gentle practice, in a community of people on a journey with cancer, combines simple movements, stretching, meditation and breath work to increase flexibility, strength and relaxation to promote healing. Yoga practitioners report improvements such as better quality sleep, faster recovery from treatments and increased energy. No yoga experience required.


Facilitated by Valerie Flynn Wintz, certified yoga teacher. She finds that gentle poses increase circulation and flexibility and renew vitality. Valerie has been a health practitioner for more than twenty years, and has found her life's purpose in facilitating health for others.

Gentle Yoga

In a supportive setting, enjoy a gentle practice that will help quiet the mind, increase your energy and stretch your body. Yoga weaves together body, mind and spirit in a healing and refreshing way. Our classes include a combination of yoga postures, breathing practices and meditation. All classes are appropriate for first timers and experienced practitioners.


Facilitated by Tina Ufford, RYT 200 through Louisiana Yoga School. Tina is a multi-talented yoga teacher who has been guiding students through restorative, meditative, and strength building practice for ten years. Tina has found her niche here with a gentle yet challenging take on basic yoga poses, called asana.

By understanding your personal relationship to your living or working space, you can bring fresh energy in and filter the stale energy out, establishing harmony between you and your environment. Learn how to apply the principles of Feng Shui to strengthen your vitality, help your body use medication more effectively, raise your resistance to illness, and maintain a resilient frame of mind. 


Facilitated by Wyming Sun, master of both the Hong Kong and Taiwan traditions of classic Feng Shui. Wyming P. Sun began learning Taoist arts from his father, a native Chinese, at age 7. In 2002 he became an "indoor pupil" of a master from Taiwan.

Community Healing Clinic

Experience peace, stillness and bliss through a guided "Meditation on Twin Hearts". Together we set the intention of achieving peace and insight, reducing stress and generating success. Clear your energy body and enjoy feeling revived and energized. Pranic Healing® sessions are offered after the meditation, as time permits.  


Facilitated by Lisa Hernandez and Pat Cole. Lisa Hernandez is a Life Coach and has been using Energy Healing with her clients for over 20 years. She attributes Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga with strengthening her spirituality and intuition, and enhancing her healing ability. Pat Cole has been studying and practicing Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga for many years. Her mission is to introduce the benefits of Pranic Healing to others through healing clinics and workshops, to enhance both their healing abilities and spiritual growth.

The Seven Keys to the Holy Scriptures and
The Twenty-Third Psalm

These times of chaos and uncertainty call for calm connection and reassurance.  Take a new look at the 23rd Psalm and discover another layer of meaning through a study of the translation from the Aramaic. “The Lord is my shepherd,” describes something that is done, set in place.  This is called a perfect verb, a complete action. However, in the Aramaic Peshitta text of the Holy Scriptures it is an imperfect verb – the action is ongoing: “The Lord shepherds me, and shepherds me, and shepherds me . . .  This is why I lack nothing at all.” Together we will consider a source that is ever-flowing and inexhaustible.


Facilitated by Wyming P. Sun, linguist and pupil of Dr. Rocco Errico. The presentation will be full of telling phrases that will linger in your memory and rise to aid you in your daily living just when you need it most.

Are you ready to bring more balance, self-care and empowerment into your life? Welcome to Yoga For Your Health, a fun, interactive 6-class series where you get to explore topics relating to holistic wellness through discussion, creative activities and yoga! Relax, rejuvenate and gain insights to a healthier way of being.


All yoga experience levels welcome. Mats available or bring your own. Don’t forget your journal and mask.


The following is a schedule of what will be covered over the 6-week series:


October 24: Affirmative Awareness - Join us as we work on positive self-speak through guided journal prompts and open discussion. This class ends with a 45-minute gentle yoga session. 


October 31: Basic Boundaries - Come discover the power of setting boundaries. How does this translate into your everyday life? Includes small canvas painting and discussion. We will practice yoga while your painting dries. 


November 7: Creating Calm - In this class, you will learn ways to self-sooth and create calm in most any environment. This class includes a vision boarding activity, followed by a gentle yoga session with extra long savasana. 


November 14: Divine Delegation - Ask someone else to make dinner and come relax as we discuss ways to let some things go! You don’t have to do it all by yourself. Guest speaker, followed by gentle yoga. 


December 5: Embrace Excellence! - Do you know how wonderful you are? No, really! Do you? In this class we will discuss “imposter syndrome” and how we can work toward being more confident! This session ends with an empowering (all-level) yoga session and sound bath. 


December 12: Finally Free - What’s holding you back from being your best self? How can we work toward becoming the person we envision ourselves to be? Let’s discuss! This class includes a group project, followed by gentle stretching and extra long Savasana.

Facilitated by Nicole "Nikky" Scott, 200hr Registered Yoga Instructor with a certification in Trauma Informed Yoga. Nikky is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Nursing from Southern University A&M College, School of Nursing. As a community advocate, she is well known for her generous heart and glowing smile. She wholeheartedly believes that it only takes one person to make a difference. Nikki is the Founder of Yoga Noir Project, which creates space for people of color to explore yoga on their path to wellness.

Join Anne Scott, an inspired leader of women's circles across the country, for an intimate monthly circle of sharing and witnessing: How do we cherish our inner light and live it into the world? How do we remember and embody our connection to the earth? The circle will include a short silent meditation of the heart, and time for sharing and discussion.

How are you feeling or missing that sense of deep connection? What are the lessons that await us when we remember?


As we come together in circle, Anne will be sharing, "My own experience with nature has brought about a deep relationship that I didn’t realize was possible. I yearned for this way of being, and slowly it came alive through experiences and dreams. As I learned to pay attention, to listen and witness, the natural world taught me how to be. How to care for it, how to witness it, and how this was nourishing not just to life but to my innermost being."
