A Wanderer's Way: Sensing The Sage Within

Saturday, November 5

10:30 - 1:30 pm

At The Red Shoes

A guided journey to a Sense of Self

We are each a Wanderer on our way, sojourning through life, accumulating experience, negotiating changes. As we navigate our unique path, we are accompanied by the Sage of inner truth that is there to help us. This inner knowing, our personal Sage, communicates through sensation.

Together we will practice somatic resonance and nervous system release techniques that facilitate an expanded connection with our inner wisdom gently increasing our capacity to know and to be with what we know. The practices which include breath work, self-touch/hands on techniques, gentle movement, somatic meditation and sound and visualization exercises support overall wellness. Benefits of this practice can include pain reduction, relaxation, a sense of restoration, and clarity.

Facilitated by Susan Ackerman Joseph, MFT, PNE, SEP Trainee is a certified somatic practitioner who offers unique guidance for transformational healing and personal growth through body-based practices. She facilitates experiential classes and workshops that bring together techniques from multiple healing and creative art modalities. Conscious Connected Breathing

Sunday, November 6 (POSTPONED)

2:30 - 4:30 pm

At The Red Shoes

Are you ready for a profound shift in your perception about life and a clear understanding about how you are approaching it? Are you open and ready to live authentically and with more joy?

Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) is a way to break through subconscious blocks and support you in getting there. CCB is an ancient yogic tradition originated in India, used to release negative emotions trapped in the body. When we stay present in the body with focus on the breath, we can release sensations and emotions that have become trapped. This release creates the potential to transform fear to love.

Facilitated by Jack Anthony Fontana. Jack has been a student of breathwork since 1985. His Level IV Professional Breathwork certification was achieved in 2002 from Jim Morningstar and the Transformation Breathwork Training Program. He is an active member of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. Jack has worked with over 15,000 people in breathwork practice, workshops, and retreats in New Orleans and around the country.

Inspired by the book:  Maiden to Mother: Unlocking Our Archetypal Journey into the Mature Feminine

When the goddess culture was dismantled, so too were women’s rites of passage into our wild, intuitive femininity. How can healing and releasing our wounded Maiden to embody the archetypal Mother support our future growth and evolution?

Go on an archetypal journey to embrace the depth of your feminine maturity. Within sacred space, we will gather as we venture into a new way of being. Explore the transformation of our feminine power and join in ceremony for rites of passage rituals. Together, we can heal our immature inner Maidens and cross the threshold into the archetypal Mother, aligning with the strength and maturity that reside within. Create the foundation for the wise Crone to thrive.

Facilitated by Angela Grillo, TRS Assistant Program Director, Dream Reader & Intuitive Coach. Angela holds an MFA in Theatre-Performance Making. She develops her projects / workshops using feminine consciousness in dreams as her main source of inspiration.
