Expand your potential as a small business owner by gaining skills in finance and concept design. Develop a personal budget as a tool to manage your personal finances. Learn the basics of personal financial management, including budgeting, debt management, and credit score management. Take steps toward starting your own business with workshops focused on business concept design. You'll produce your own mini business plan demonstrating the feasibility of your business idea.

 

February 22 & 29 - Rethink Money: Rebuild Your Credit Report
We will begin with a personal one on one consultation to better understand your needs.  Learn the fundamentals of credit and credit scoring including  how credit scores are used and ways of establishing or improving credit.

March 21 & 28 – The Right Stuff: A Business Model

Learn how to create a business model and how to answer the question, "What do you sell?" Topics include functional components of a business, product features and benefits, and the importance of clear product definition and description.

 

April 18 & 25 – Is it Revenue or Profit?
Gain a better understanding of budgeting and spending. We will answer the question, “Can I make money?" Topics include startup costs, developing a  budget, breakeven analysis, and the importance of planning ahead.
