The Face of Hope: Recognition from Two Local Organizations

The Red Shoes’ Project Hope invites clients from partner organizations to attend all programs of The Red Shoes at no cost.

At their Survivorship Holiday Party, Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center recognized The Red Shoes for its support and partnership throughout 2017. Francinne Lawrence, Ph.D., manager of survivorship and integrative services, thanked The Red Shoes for contributing to its mission to improve survivorship and lessen the burden of cancer. Dr. Lawrence explained how The Red Shoes extends the Cancer Center’s services, providing key classes and programs after hours and on weekends. “You are truly an extension of our staff; your programs play a critical role in helping survivors heal and recover.”

STAR, Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response, honored The Red Shoes as their Ally of the Year during their Evening of Appreciation for providing access to additional, alternative healing including a day-long retreat for survivors of sexual assault.

Thank you for caring about individuals facing serious challenges. Your gift today will help insure the future of Project Hope.
