Dear Friends of The Red Shoes,

How can we work towards a more sustainable, just and compassionate future?
The Red Shoes’ mission is to provide a space for personal and spiritual growth and to embrace all that we have in common rather than focus on superficial differences.  Our programs reflect the “divine feminine,” the gentle nature of the divine, cultivating compassion, communication, and collaboration.  Introducing inspiring speakers to our community and providing thought provoking film studies and book groups creates an environment of exploration. When we discuss ecological issues, healthcare, poverty, diversity and nutrition from the perspective of the Oneness of all, global understandings emerge that challenge old paradigms. 

How is this small non-profit creating big changes?
Just as a small pebble creates ripples across the ocean, we are touching the lives of more and more people in Baton Rouge. This year we served more than 1500 participants who joined us for 148 inspiring and educational programs and workshops addressing spirituality, wellness, ecology and empowerment.  The people who come into The Red Shoes come from all faiths, cultural backgrounds and socio-economic groups. We foster authentic community, meeting in small groups to create circles of understanding.

Join our Circles of Giving and help us open more hearts and minds that will transform the world.  The Red Shoes is 10 years old.  We are asking for your financial support as we grow our programs, support positive life choices and increase our partnerships to maximize our impact over the next 10 years. Our program fees cover only a small portion of our costs. We hope to always offer scholarships on request. As a non-profit without a membership base, your commitment to our Circles of Giving campaign is crucial to our future.
