Our greatest challenge is often not found in our human choices but rather in discerning the Divine Presence and guidance hidden deep within our lives. We hope to draw from the power of spirit present within each of us to find the courage to strip away the pretense of our false selves and discover new energies and joy grounded within our souls. Using Richard Rohr’s book Wild Men to Wise Men: Reflections on Male Spirituality as a guide, our group will encourage each participant to question, learn and grow. By coming together through prayer, fellowship and unconditional acceptance, we hope that our men's group will lead to lives lived fully in relationship with the Divine.
Facilitated by David Dragon, whose spiritual life was influenced deeply by an initiation as a Beloved Son of God in Chicago; and Tom Lastrapes, who has participated in a variety of Richard Rohr programs including the Male Rites of Passage program.
